Spiritual warfare is not fought with human strength or clever words — it is fought on your knees, with the Word of God in your mouth. Every prayer point below is anchored to a specific verse of Scripture, because the sword of the Spirit is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17). Pray them aloud, stand on the promise behind each one, and enforce the victory Christ has already won.
You do not need to feel strong to pray these. The battle belongs to the Lord (2 Chronicles 20:15); your part is to stand. Take them in order or pray only the ones that meet today's need — and close, as every one of them does, in the name of Jesus, the name above every name.
1. Ephesians 6:11 — "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Father, I put on Your whole armour this day — truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, and the Word — and I stand immovable against every wile of the enemy, in the name of Jesus.
2. Ephesians 6:12 — "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Lord, I refuse to war against people; I confront the true enemy behind the conflict, and I stand against every principality and power set against my life, in Jesus' name.
3. 2 Corinthians 10:4 — "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds." Father, I take up the mighty weapons You have given me — prayer, the Word, and the blood — and I pull down every stronghold raised up in my mind and my home, in the mighty name of Jesus.
4. Isaiah 54:17 — "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn." I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every accusing tongue that rises against me I condemn as Your servant, in Jesus' mighty name.
5. Luke 10:19 — "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Lord, I receive the authority You have given me to tread on serpents and scorpions; nothing the enemy sends shall harm me, through Christ our Lord.
6. James 4:7 — "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Father, I submit myself wholly to You, and standing in that submission I resist the devil; I command him to flee from my life, in the name of the Lord Jesus.
7. 1 Peter 5:8 — "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." Lord, make me sober and watchful; let no scheme of the adversary catch me sleeping, and guard everything You have entrusted to me, in Jesus' precious name.
8. Revelation 12:11 — "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." I overcome the accuser by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony; I plead the blood over my life and my household, in the name of Jesus.
9. 2 Chronicles 20:15 — "Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's." Father, I hand this battle back to You; I will not fear the multitude arrayed against me, for the victory belongs to You, in Jesus' name.
10. Colossians 2:15 — "And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it." Lord Jesus, You have already disarmed and openly triumphed over every principality and power; I stand in Your finished victory today, in the mighty name of Jesus.
11. 1 John 4:4 — "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." Father, I thank You that greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world; I have already overcome, in Jesus' mighty name.
12. Romans 8:37 — "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." In every trial and every attack I declare that I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loved me, through Christ our Lord.
13. Psalm 91:7 — "A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee." Lord, though a thousand fall at my side, no arrow and no plague of the enemy shall come near my dwelling, in the name of the Lord Jesus.
14. Deuteronomy 20:4 — "For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you." Father, I go into this day knowing You go before me to fight for me and to save me; the outcome is secure in Your hands, in Jesus' precious name.
When you have prayed through these, rest. The armour is on, the enemy is resisted, and the victory is Christ's. RhemaOS can generate fresh, personalised warfare prayers from any verse of Scripture — anchored in the Word and always closing in the name of Jesus.
