Welcome to RhemaOS. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RhemaOS platform, including our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RhemaOS, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
  • You agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RhemaOS is a Scripture-powered prayer platform that:

  • Transforms Bible verses into personalised prayer points across multiple prayer adaptations.
  • Provides AI-generated dynamic prayers tailored to your spiritual season and circumstances.
  • Tracks your prayer journey including streaks, history, and answered prayer testimonies.
  • Offers prayer journeys, Scripture cross-references, and community features.
The Service is provided "as is" and we continuously improve it. Features may be added, modified, or removed.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

You may create an account using email (magic link) or Google sign-in. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@rhemaos.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

3.3 One Account Per Person

Each person may maintain one account. We reserve the right to merge or remove duplicate accounts.

4. Subscription Tiers and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

RhemaOS offers a free tier with limited daily chapters and the Personal prayer adaptation.

4.2 Paid Tiers

Paid tiers (Believer, Disciple, Warrior) unlock additional features, adaptations, and daily chapter limits. Pricing is displayed on the pricing page and may be updated with 30 days' notice.

4.3 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed through LemonSqueezy. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges. You may cancel at any time from your Settings page — access continues until the end of the billing period.

4.4 Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund for first-time subscribers. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion. Contact support@rhemaos.com for refund requests.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
  • Scrape, crawl, or automated-access the Service beyond normal usage.
  • Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or security measures.
  • Upload malicious code, spam, or harmful content.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Use the Service to generate content that is hateful, harassing, or promotes violence.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission.
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 Scripture Content

Bible text is sourced from public-domain translations (KJV, ASV, WEB). These texts are in the public domain and not owned by RhemaOS.

6.2 AI-Generated Prayers

Prayers generated by RhemaOS using AI are provided for your personal spiritual use. You may save, share, and print generated prayers for non-commercial purposes. The AI-generated content is provided without warranty of theological accuracy — always refer to Scripture directly.

6.3 Your Content

Content you create (prayer notes, journal entries, testimonies, feedback) remains yours. By submitting feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use anonymised versions for product improvement. If you opt in to testimonial or media consent, you grant additional permission as described at the time of consent.

6.4 Our Intellectual Property

The RhemaOS name, logo, design, code, and non-Scripture content are owned by RhemaOS and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary content without permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

8. AI Disclaimer

RhemaOS uses artificial intelligence to generate personalised prayers. Please understand that:

  • AI-generated prayers are tools for devotion, not replacements for personal Bible study, pastoral counsel, or theological authority.
  • AI may occasionally produce imperfect or unexpected content. We encourage you to evaluate all generated content against Scripture.
  • We continuously improve our AI prompts and filters but cannot guarantee perfection.

9. Availability and Modifications

  • We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
  • Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • RhemaOS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not responsible for the theological interpretation or application of AI-generated prayer content.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RhemaOS, its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Danger Zone. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with notice where practical. In cases of severe abuse, termination may be immediate.

13. Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first at support@rhemaos.com to resolve any disputes. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where RhemaOS operates, except where prohibited by law.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the platform and email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated Terms, you may delete your account.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RhemaOS regarding the Service.

18. Digital Delivery

RhemaOS is a fully digital service. Upon successful payment:

  • Access to your paid subscription tier is activated immediately and automatically.
  • No physical goods are shipped. All features are delivered digitally through the RhemaOS web application at rhemaos.app.
  • You may access the Service from any compatible device with an internet connection.
  • In the event of a technical failure preventing immediate access activation, contact support@rhemaos.app and we will resolve it within 1 business day.
  • Upon cancellation, access continues until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free tier. No further charges are made.
