Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the RhemaOS platform and all related services. This policy supplements our Terms of Service and is incorporated by reference.

By using RhemaOS, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation may result in warning, suspension, or permanent termination of your account.

1. Intended Use

RhemaOS is a Scripture-powered prayer platform designed for personal devotion, prayer, Bible study, and spiritual growth. All use of the platform should be consistent with this purpose.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use RhemaOS to:

2.1 Illegal or Harmful Activity

Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law.
Promote, facilitate, or engage in violence, terrorism, or human trafficking.
Distribute illegal content of any kind.

2.2 Abuse of the Platform

Automated Access: Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated tools to access the platform beyond normal human usage patterns.
Rate Limit Circumvention: Attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas, or usage restrictions through any means, including creating multiple accounts.
Reverse Engineering: Decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of any part of the platform.
Security Exploitation: Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform or circumvent any security or authentication measures.
Service Disruption: Intentionally disrupt, degrade, or interfere with the platform's performance or availability for other users.

2.3 Content Misuse

AI Manipulation: Attempt to manipulate the AI prayer generation system to produce content unrelated to prayer, Scripture, or spiritual devotion.
Harmful Content: Use the platform to generate, store, or distribute content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or discriminatory.
Spam: Use the platform to send unsolicited messages, bulk communications, or promotional material.
Misinformation: Deliberately use AI-generated content to mislead others about its source or present it as authoritative theological doctrine.

2.4 Account Abuse

Multiple Accounts: Create or maintain more than one account per person, or create accounts to circumvent a previous suspension or termination.
Impersonation: Impersonate another person, entity, or RhemaOS staff.
Credential Sharing: Share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account.
Account Trading: Buy, sell, transfer, or trade accounts.

2.5 Commercial Exploitation

Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without prior written consent from RhemaOS.
Use generated prayers or platform content for commercial purposes (books, paid courses, etc.) without permission.
White-label or rebrand any part of the platform.

3. Fair Use of AI Features

RhemaOS includes AI-powered features (dynamic prayers, Rhema AI chat) with daily usage limits per subscription tier. You agree to:

Use AI features for their intended purpose (prayer, devotion, spiritual guidance).
Respect the daily message and generation limits for your tier.
Not attempt to extract, replicate, or reverse-engineer the AI prompts or system instructions.

4. Community Features

If you participate in community features (prayer partner matching, shared prayer requests), you agree to:

Treat other users with respect and kindness.
Not share other users' personal information or prayer requests outside the platform.
Report any inappropriate behaviour to support@rhemaos.app.
Not use community features for solicitation, proselytising of non-Christian beliefs, or commercial purposes.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to:

Please include as much detail as possible, including screenshots or relevant context.

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any violation of this AUP, including:

Warning: A notice that your activity violates this AUP.
Content Removal: Removal of content that violates this AUP.
Temporary Suspension: Suspension of your account for a specified period.
Permanent Termination: Permanent deletion of your account without refund.
Legal Action: Referral to law enforcement or initiation of legal proceedings where appropriate.

We aim to provide a warning before suspension where practical, but reserve the right to act immediately in cases of severe or repeated violations.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
