Protect him from counterfeit ideas of manhood built on domination, appetite, money, or applause. Let Jesus, who came not to be served but to serve (Mark 10:45), define the kind of man and leader my son becomes, in Jesus' name.
Holy Spirit, awaken the gifts and leadership potential You placed in my son. Ephesians 2:10 says he is Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works prepared beforehand. Teach him to carry responsibility faithfully, influence others without pride, and use every gift to lift people rather than prove himself, in Jesus' name.
Lord, establish my son's future in integrity. Proverbs 20:7 says the just man walks in his integrity and his children are blessed after him. Let him become that kind of man — faithful in private, dependable in public, tender toward his family, and steadfast toward You. May his life leave a godly inheritance beyond his own generation, in Jesus' name, Amen.
